Beginner Bundle
Step 1
Choose Your Race Vest
Curbar 5L or Kinder 10L?
The Curbar 5L is ideal for carrying a small or medium amount of kit. Such as two soft flasks, snacks, hat and gloves, waterproof jacket easily.
Stretchy fabric for a comfortable fit whether carrying full or with minimal items. Great for beginners and advanced alike! 😊
The Kinder 10L is ideal for longer runs, 2 hours +, and carrying a medium to large amount of kit. Such as two soft flasks, snacks 🍫, hat and gloves, waterproof jacket. Additional warm layer, waterproof trousers or water bladder in the back compartment.
Getting the right size
Take a measurement around the widest part of your chest or bust. If you are between sizes consider what kit you will carrying for the majority of your runs. If you like to pack light, for example two flasks, a snack and a first aid kit, go for a size down. If you like to have lots of kit which will pad the pack out, or you train in winter 🥶 a lot with layers underneath, a size up may be better.
Step 2
Choose Your Soft Flasks, Cold and Hot Cups
If you are a beginner, two 500ml soft flasks are great to get you started. Soft bottles do not slosh like hard bottles and they are much more comfortable against your body. The soft cup is great for grabbing a quick drink at check points at a race or event to reduce single use plastic. Choose your favourite colours 🌈
Step 3
Add Your Safety Items
When you first start trail running, kit options can seem a bit overwhelming. A mini first aid kit, bivvi bag and tube scarf go a long way and will help keep you safe on the trails. That, with a charged phone and letting people know where you are going 🧐 So you can do what's important, get out and enjoy some trails!
Not Sure Which To Choose?
Kinder or Stanage 10L
Longer runs, medium to large amount of kit. Two soft flasks, snacks 🍫, hat and gloves, waterproof jacket. Additional warm layer 🥶 waterproof trousers or water bladder.
Choose the Stanage XL - XXL for chest size over 42".
Bungee cords on the back allow pack to be drawn in to stop bounce.
Curbar 5L
Shorter runs, small or medium amount of kit. Two soft flasks or bladder, snacks, hat and gloves 🧤, waterproof jacket.
Stretchy fabric for a comfortable fit whether carrying full or with minimal items 😊
