Choose Your Race Vest and Poles
Curbar 5L or Kinder 10L?
The Curbar 5L is ideal for carrying a small or medium amount of kit. Such as two soft flasks, snacks, hat and gloves, waterproof jacket easily.
Stretchy fabric for a comfortable fit whether carrying full or with minimal items. Great for beginners and advanced alike! 😊
The Kinder 10L is ideal for longer runs, 2 hours +, and carrying a medium to large amount of kit. Such as two soft flasks, snacks 🍫, hat and gloves, waterproof jacket. Additional warm layer, waterproof trousers or water bladder in the back compartment.
Getting the right race vest size
Take a measurement around the widest part of your chest or bust. If you are between sizes consider what kit you will carrying for the majority of your runs. If you like to pack light, for example two flasks, a snack and a first aid kit, go for a size down. If you like to have lots of kit which will pad the pack out, or you train in winter 🥶 a lot with layers underneath, a size up may be better.
Choose the right pole length
Regular length if you are under 5ft 8", long if you are taller. If you are exactly in the middle and not sure, go for regular as they are slightly lighter and shorter when folded. See our Quick Start Guide for more information on poles.
Choose Your Soft Flasks, Cold and Hot Cups
Included are two 500ml soft flasks and straws and a water bladder. Perfect if you carry different types of fluids such as electrolytes. The cups are great for grabbing a quick drink at race check points to reduce single use plastic. Choose your favourite colours 🌈
Add Your Safety Items
The mini first aid kit, bivvi bag and tube scarf are all great as minimum kit requirements for some events. The dry bag is ideal for when the weather can ... quite British! Choose a 2L for basic items like hat, gloves and phone, a 5L for extra warm layers as well.
