Partnership Announcement With Pegasus Ultra Running & Wild Horse 200 Events!
We’ve got some exciting news to share with you! We’re thrilled to announce that we have partnered with Pegasus & Wild Horse Running Events for 2022!
Pegasus and Wild Horse are led by husband and wife team, Rhys and Cerys Jenkins. Both passionate about ultra running, they have spent the last 10 years organising events around the world. We’ve partnered with them because we love Rhys and Cerys’s passion not only for trail running, but in helping to make ultra running accessible to everyone.
Pegasus and Wild Horse are divided into two different entities, each organising multiple ultra running events per year. Pegasus comprises of six events ranging from 30-50 miles which take participants through the trails of the beautiful Welsh countryside. Though all are ultra-distance, Pegasus prides itself on being accessible to runners of all abilities with no cut-off times.
Wild Horse 200 is the home of the 200-mile ultra in Wales. Not for the faint-hearted, these events pack a punch with both distance and elevation gain. Participants can choose from three events running in South, Mid or North Wales.
In addition to supporting Pegasus and Wild Horse events, we will also be supporting Rhys with his personal goals for 2022. Those of you familiar with Rhys will know he’s no stranger to the big challenge! In 2021 he set a new world record for the Three Peaks JOGLE (that’s running from John O’Groats to Land’s End whilst summiting each of the UK Mainland’s highest mountains!). He’s completed the Badwater 135-mile race, the 145-mile Grand Union Canal race, 145-mile Kennet and Avon Canal race and 130-mile Leeds & Liverpool Canal Slam and a 2,000 mile run from Boston to Austin.
This year will see Rhys take on a whole new set of challenges including an FKT attempt and UTMB’s Julian Alps 100 in September. We’re looking forward to following along for the journey and hope you are too!
