When should you carry an emergency sleeping bag?

Throw this small piece of kit in your race vest and forget it’s there until you may need it! Often a mandatory kit item, we would recommend always keeping this item with you even on shorter runs and when the weather isn’t too cold for your safety and peace of mind.

Why is an emergency sleeping bag better than a foil blanket?

Much more effective than a foil blanket, it helps to prevent against hypothermia during injuries or emergency situations. This bag will keep you fully covered against the cold ground and elements, a foil blanket will not.

What is it made from?

The emergency sleeping bag is made from polythene.

The outer case is made from DWR treated, ripstop polyester.  The case is also water and puncture resistant, keeping your survival bag protected for if you should ever need it.

How would I use it in an emergency situation?

Remove the polythene survival bag from the outer case. Unroll it and get in the bag!

The bright orange polythene bag is very easy for rescuers to see and extra large so can fit even a very tall person inside to keep warm if you get caught on the hills and need to keep protected.

Included is a whistle along with printed emergency information on the case should you need to signal for help.
