At Harrier we believe in Trail Running for Every Body. We offer race vests in more sizes than any other brand. Correct fit is essential for comfort on the trails and one size does not ‘fit all’.
When you buy online, or are new to trail running, it’s great to see how kit looks and fits on someone who is a similar size to yourself. That’s not always easy when other brands only show models and pro athletes in their kit!
So unlike the others, Harrier has ‘See Your Fit’, with trail runners from size XXS to XL in our race vests and waterproofs further down the page.
If the size you choose still doesn’t feel quite right, don’t worry! We offer free and easy UK returns and exchanges. Your postie can even collect your return item from your home, no drop off required.
Measuring Top Tips!
- Measure over the clothes you would run in
- Use a ribbon tape measure - don’t guess
- Race vests need to be snug to prevent bounce or chaffing
- Jackets have a back pleat to fit over your race vest, no sizing up required
- Try on at home and keep tags on, do not throw away packaging or open free gifts until you are 100% sure you will be keeping the item
Rules of Thumb
- Men, if you are between sizes and over 6ft or have broad shoulders you may want to size up
- Ladies, if you are between two sizes due to bust / rib ratio go for the size grade you are most in the middle of
- Z-Poles, if you are between sizes, size down if you will use them for hills. Or if you have a long body and short legs!

Measure under the arms at the widest part of your chest or fullest part of your bust.
Waist
Measure where your belly button is
Hips
With feet together, measure around fullest part
Height
With bare feet together measure from top of the head to the floor
