“Here is the Godshill Massive’s signature run ’The Classic’ which is a mixed terrain 7-ish mile route that our group love to hate. This has fantastic views mixed with some tough hills which I initially designed to test us on a weekly basis.
There are similar versions, ie a reverse route, a shorter route for weaker runners and a marathon route which is four circuits. The most testing ascent is Dump Hill and the Worsley Obelisk is our turning point. At 226m, it’s not huge but hey - it’s what we’ve got!”
We think this trail run is fab! Thanks so much to Michael from Godshill Massive for sharing the route with us! If you find yourself down in the Isle of Wight, why not give this run a try? Or join Godshill for one of their group runs.
