How do you use a dry bag?
Dry bags are perfect for protecting kit and keeping it organised in the back of your race vest. You can use different colours to code your kit. For example, orange for clean and dry, blue for wet and worn.
By squishing all the air out of a dry bag as you roll it down, you can fit much more in your race vest. They make finding something important you need when you are tired, it's bad weather or in the dark much easier.
What types of runs or weather are they good for?
Perfect for ultras, longer distances and fell running in more remote terrain when the weather can be unpredictable.
What size should I choose?
The 5 litre size is ideal for larger items such as waterproofs, and spare warm layers.
The 2 litre size is great for smaller items such as gloves, hat, tube scarves, phones etc.
We would recommend using a combination of both sizes and colours to segment your kit into specific groups.
Are they really 100% waterproof?
Yes! Unlike some other dry bags where kit inside can feel slightly damp, our dry bags are 100% waterproof. They are constructed out of TPU coated ripstop nylon making them extremely durable and totally waterproof.
What other useful features do they have?
The chunky buckle is durable and easy to grip even with gloves on.
There is also a handy minimum kit checklist printed on the front of our dry bags, which is a great reminder for what to pack when you head out to the trails.
How much do they weigh?
5L - 35g
2L - 25g
